The Future of PR


Today I am taking part in a project at uni called ‘an eBook in a day’ where all PR students in their second year, final year and even masters students are working together to create an eBook in one day – even the CIPR president Stephen Waddington is here (it must be special!). The book is all about a new form of PR known as P2P, which is seen as the future of PR. Instead of the normal B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer) this new form focuses on Peer-to-Peer PR. This form of communication has developed with the evolution of technology and with the amount of people who are now present on social media sites and blogging sites. P2P focuses on the power of re-blogging and spreading the word through social media sites.
